About Khristian
Khristian Foreman teaches trombone, tuba, euphonium, trumpet, and piano in the Inglewood/South LA areas and online.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Khristian is an active trombonist and bass trombonist throughout Los Angeles, its surrounding areas and all throughout the east coast.
Khristian was a Music Performance Major at Jackson State University in Jackson, MS where he actively performed at his school and freelanced outside of it. Currently,
Khristian Foreman is a member and active performer in multiple groups and ensembles such as the Kris Johnson Big Band, Corbin Jones Big Band, Extra Syrup Brass Band, Rock With U, The Gabriel Brass Band, Epic Funk Brass Band and AJC & The Envelope Pushers. In pursuit of honing his craft, chasing his dreams and continuing to grow, Khristian moved to Los Angeles recently.
He has studied with numerous of musicians and professors including Dr. Carla Stovall, Vincent Chandler, Reginald Chapman, Altin Sencalar, Dr. Isrea Butler, Kris Johnson, Desean Jones and more!
He has the great honor of being a Grammy Nominated Trombonist for being apart of International Gospel Recording Artist Kierra Sheard’s album entitled “Kierra.”
He is also the 2018 recipient of the Conn – Selmer Institute Scholarship Award & Has taught music in Michigan, Mississippi, Atlanta, and Meru Kenya.
He has recently just finished performing with International Recording Artist Tem's at the 2024 Coachella Music Festival.

What can you teach me better on your instrument than any other teacher?
Improvisation & having a great sound.
How did you learn to play your instrument?
Trombone literature, Private lessons, Lots of dedicated & consistent practice time and Transcription

A removable bell flare.
How do you handle children?
Very well, I am more patient with kids - I love them!
What has been your greatest experience as a musician so far?
Playing Trombone for Harry Styles Love On Tour, and recording for Netflix.
What was the biggest stage you played on?
Kia Forum or Coachella
