About Lindsay

Lindsay has a BA from Berklee College of Music and over a decade of experience playing, performing and teaching.

She draws from many years of experience as a songwriter, performer and composer, with a strong foundation in classical technique and many years spent studying jazz piano.

She began playing piano when she was four years old and started singing shortly after. In elementary and middle school, she learned violin, and in her early twenties, she taught herself to play guitar. In her teen years, she started exploring writing her own songs and found her voice through songwriting.

Today, Lindsay plays in a solo folk project, has toured in the US and abroad and has released multiple albums.

Some of Lindsay's influences are Bach, Debussy, Joni Mitchell, The Beach Boys, Gillian Welch, Fleet Foxes. As a teacher, she is interested in each students unique interests, goals, and learning style and in finding music they love and connect with. She loves bringing joy, inspiration, and passion through her music and enjoys teaching those who are motivated to learn.
