About Anneliese M.

I’m a dedicated music teacher with over 15 years of experience teaching piano, voice, and music theory to children, teens, and adults. My background includes advanced studies in music as well as teaching in international schools and music programs in both the U.S. and Europe. For me, teaching is about more than just notes and technique. It’s about helping each student connect to music in their own way. I take time to understand my students’ personalities, goals, and interests, and I shape lessons around what motivates them. Some students thrive on structure, others on creativity, and I enjoy finding that balance for each individual. In lessons, I focus on building a solid technical foundation while also encouraging expression, musicality, and confidence. I want students to feel proud of what they can do and excited to keep improving. Whether someone is preparing for performances or just playing for personal enjoyment, I aim to make every lesson feel meaningful and encouraging. What I hear most from students is that they feel comfortable and supported in my lessons. I’m patient, positive, and genuinely invested in their progress. Seeing students grow, gain confidence, and enjoy music is what I love most about teaching.
