I am very involved in the world of session drum recording, both in major studios and remotely. My experience includes drum selection, tuning, microphone choice/placement, and creating drum parts for songs.

I've had the pleasure of working with some of my all-time favorite artists over the years and getting to collaborate with new musicians who went on to become great friends of mine afterwards.

I am an avid reader, a fan of camping and traveling to the northwest, and I love to spend time with my 5 y/o Puggle, Buko.

I teach drumset and audio production lessons, all skill levels are welcome!

I played a large festival in Germany called Maifeld Derby a few years ago, I'm not sure what the crowd size was when we went on but it was quite a rush!

My childhood music teacher, mentor, bandleader, and friend Steve Raybine was a huge driving force for me from age 7-30.

I can teach you how to zoom in on what makes you a unique and creative force on your instrument better than anyone else, and how to use your unique skills and interests to create music that is unlike anything anyone else could make.

I started taking private lessons as a small child and never looked back!

I typically stick with Ludwig and DW drums, a variety of vintage and modern snare drums, Istanbul-Agop and Zildjian cymbals, Vic Firth drumsticks, and Remo heads. I also have an Alesis Strata electric kit that I use to rehearse quietly at home!

I have always really loved practicing, and making a set time for it everyday helped me immensely.

The drums have the ability to make or break a band! You can't have a great band if you don't have a great drummer.

I do my best to meet children where their interests in music are, while bringing in important musical fundamentals and historical musical context that they might not be aware of yet.

Getting to record in some of the legendary studios in Hollywood (Sunset Sound, East/West Studios) where musicians like Prince and the Beach Boys made some of their most famous albums was a marvelous experience to me.

I welcome students of all ages, and have taught students as young as 7 and as old as 65+!

I started an indie rock band in 2012 called See Through Dresses, with whom I have released a number of albums and EP's and toured heavily across the US, Canada, and Europe. As a side-man and session player, I have performed and recorded with artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Criteria, Semler, and Em Beihold, to name just a few. One of my all-time favorite experiences would be recording an Audiotree Live Session with See Through Dresses in 2018!

It's always been a goal of mine to play Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. Some day!
