My approach centers on vocal science- anatomy, physiology, and function—to build healthy, efficient singing. I emphasize breath support, laryngeal function, and resonance strategies grounded in current research, helping singers develop technique that's sustainable for the long term.

I help singers build strategic, polished audition packages, refining repertoire, technique, and diction while developing the stage presence and confidence to perform well under pressure and stand out to panels.

I coach contemporary and musical theatre repertoire alongside classical technique, helping singers develop versatile, healthy belt and mix while telling a story through song with authentic character and stylistic nuance.

I introduce young learners to music through movement, rote learning, and play-based activities, building foundational musicianship and vocal awareness before connecting those skills to music notation and reading.

I help students bridge aural learning and music notation, strengthening sight-singing, rhythm, and reading skills so they can approach new repertoire with confidence and independence.

My family is everything to me. My partner and my family live in Texas while I am here, and being able to visit them and feel connected is everything to me.

I love working with all ages! I actively teach and interact with people of all ages in musical contexts. No one is too young OR too old to learn a new skill.

My background is classical ensemble and choral work: Chorus Fellow at Spoleto Festival USA (2024, 2025), Soprano Section Leader at Westwood UMC, and originator of 'Madame Q.V.R.S.' in a new opera by Trevor Zavac. I've also presented on vocal pedagogy at USC's Vocal Forum.

I'm continuing to develop as a large-voice singer, building repertoire suited to my instrument as it matures, while also growing as a composer. My goal is to keep performing and creating new music alongside my teaching, letting each part of my musical life inform the other.

I teach all levels of voice, beginner and intermediate guitar, as well as beginner piano.

Growing up, I listened to a lot of rock and alternative. My most formative years were spent listening to Coldplay and Radiohead. They definitely influence my day-to-day. On the Classical side, I would say Leontyne Price. She broke into international stardom all while facing racism and resistance from many opera houses.

The "why" to most issues you encounter while singing, and how we can go about helping make it happen less, or make it go away entirely.

I was always a singer. There are videos of me as a child performing for my parents and, honestly anyone who would listen. I began to take it more seriously in middle school when I began private lessons. Those lessons carried me all the way to where I am today. My instrument would not be what it is today without the influence of my teachers and coaches.

My current guitar is an acoustic Orangewood. It is my fourth guitar and has survived 5 moves with me.

Humility - practice cannot and should not just be serious. This is art, what we do is beautiful and we MUST have fun and enjoy it.

I love working with kids! I've taught students as young as 4 at Harmony Hall Music School and currently teach musicianship at Harmony Project. I make technical concepts feel like play, adjust to each child's learning style, and genuinely enjoy watching their confidence grow.
