About Will K.

Hello! My main goal as a teacher is to teach students to sing healthily regardless of the genre, whether it be classical, broadway, rock, pop or jazz. I help my students sing with more confidence, energy and passion! I also guide my students towards better text delivery and musicality. I can teach advanced music theory and help students learn to read music! I started out as a songwriter in high school, so I come from a background of playing guitar and singing in bands, as well as writing/performing original songs. In my lessons, I accompany my students on the piano or guitar! Currently, I'm an Artist Diploma candidate in opera at Juilliard (Artist Diploma is the highest level program at Juilliard). I have degrees in composition from IU Bloomington, HMT München and HMDK Stuttgart. I have a Masters in Voice from Stuttgart. I've performed in venues such as Tanglewood, Carnegie Hall, Caramoor, Aldeburgh Festival, Liederhalle Stuttgart and the Berkshire Opera Festival.
