As a proud alumnus of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), I founded Craft Music with a simple idea: offer families world-class music instruction grounded in connection, creativity, and purpose.

I came to the Conservatory as a songwriter and left as a composer. Studying with Elinor Armer, I discovered music as a form of storytelling—alive with feeling and form. My work with David Garner challenged me to think architecturally about sound. Their mentorship transformed not only how I compose, but how I teach and lead.
Those lessons inspired Craft Music’s mission: to connect students with extraordinary teachers who nurture both musical excellence and personal growth.
